The vision of House on the Word is to provide an atmosphere where people can come to know Jesus Christ personally, grow in the knowledge of Him, and have an opportunity to use their gifts to serve God.
We will do this by:
- Raising up a people who are lovers of God - Converting “casual” believers into committed pursuers of God.1
- Building up the body of Christ through sound Biblical teaching and careful nurturing.2
- Worshipping God in Spirit and in truth.3
- Ensuring that God is preached in the “Synagogues and the Marketplace”.4
- Reaching out to the unchurched and the unsaved with a view to winning converts for Christ.5
- Ensuring that those who are in Christ become disciples of the Master.6
- Bringing the life-changing and transforming power of God to our generation - thus setting the captives free.7
- Creating an atmosphere where there is freedom for every member to use his or spiritual gifts in a responsible manner and under spiritual authority.
- Strengthening the Christian home healing relationships and families.
- Being a catalyst for Revival in the Body of Christ.
- Reaching the world through our own Missions & Evangelism efforts and supporting those bodies that have the same vision.8
- Having a relevant Children and Youth Ministry to ensure that this precious faith is transmitted on to the next generation.9
- Enabling people to live out daily, what the word of God teaches - i.e. a people who will be doers of the Word and not just hearers of the Word.
- Being dedicated to a return of the days of Apostolic signs and wonders.
